The clinical haematology department at the Canberra Region Cancer Centre (CRCC) provides a regional service for the diagnosis and treatment of all types of haematological disorders. These include:
- malignant diseases
- immunological diseases that affect blood causing reduction in any blood cells
- hereditary blood cell problems
- clotting problems
- other non-malignant diseases
We also offer a number of other services, including autologous stem cell transplants, therapeutic apheresis, immunology for rare diseases, iron overload management and haematology clinical trials.
Our services are available at the CRCC and Ward 14B at the Canberra Hospital for inpatient care.
