Fruit Smoothie


  • 500ml low fat milk
  • 1 small tub low fat plain yoghurt
  • 4-8 ice cubes (optional)
  • Add one, or a combination, of the following:
  • 1 banana
  • 1 handful fresh berries
  • ½ cup drained tinned fruit (peach, mango, apricot)
  • 1 medium peeled fruit e.g. peach


Approx 5-10 min. Serves 4

  1. Place all ingredients in a blender and mix until frothy. Mix with a fork or shake in a sealed container if there’s no blender available.
  2. Serve and drink immediately.

Cooking Hints

Experiment using different coloured fruits and vegetables.

Family Eating Tip

Prepare fruit smoothies for breakfast if you don’t enjoy eating a traditional breakfast.
